Business Ballarat

As one of the Nation's fastest growing inland cities, Ballarat's population is planned to surge over the next 25 years.

The Ballarat West Growth Area Plan is the largest of its kind in regional Victoria and defines and co-ordinates the future growth for the west of Ballarat in terms of infratructure provision, environmental sustainability, community needs, residential land development and recreation areas.

State Government has recently approved C107 which identifies the Ballarat West Growth Zone as the area for the development of an additional 14,000 homes over the next 30 years. Council is now preparing to commence three concurrent precinct structure plans which will clear the way for development to commence.
