Ziptales is a publisher of digital resources, with a product range principally focused on literacy, primary education, games and edutainment. The e-learning content is delivered via the Ziptales state of the art website and is also available on CD-ROM, making the online content available to users preferring a CD solution. The main product consists of a reading library of 124 stories in eleven different genre categories. Each story comes with two interactive comprehension tasks, classroom worksheets and dramatised readings. Ziptales was originally developed for the education market, and still meets a wide range of curriculum needs, but also caters for public libraries and home users. Although Ziptales was developed in , it is not ‘Australian’ in nature. It is a generic literacy product and most stories and other reading material on the site are universal in language and content features. Reaching a global market, Ziptales is conscious of cultural differences and upon request will customise product for local requirements.

Ziptales is a multi-platform digital resource. The online version can be viewed from any browser on either Mac or PC platforms. Ziptales is fully SCROM compliant, and available to on-sellers in web server versions (Apache and IIS) as well as customized variants (on demand).

Ziptales has now been approved as a content provider by leading educational authorities in three countries:
Curriculum Online () – the Department for Education and Schools online content authority – for all web based and CD-Rom software.
California Learning resource Network (CLRN) – the Californian CLRN has approved Ziptales for use by all school boards in the state, have met all the necessary criteria.
UBSM (University Book Sellers Malaysia) –Ziptales recently signed a distribution and rights agreement with UBSM to cover the South East Asian market for book-rights and CD’s.
