Ballarat offers a diverse range of locations, supportive infrastructure and services, and a film friendly Council committed to increasing film and television production in Ballarat.
Staff in Council's "Film Liaison Unit" will work in consultation with producers, from the initial point of contact through to post production, in order to achieve mutally beneficial outcomes for both the production company and the community.
Accordingly, Council has developed a Film Liaison Policy and is committed to fast-tracking the permit application process.
