The Economic Development Unit is the lead agency in the City of Ballarat for facilitating development, fostering new industry and assisting existing business to ensure continued development and expansion of the City.
The City of Ballarat's Economic Development Unit is committed to supporting new and existing business through the facilitation of business and industry development opportunities for the region. The Economic Development Unit works in partnership with both the State and Federal Governments to support new initiatives and projects for the region.
The Economic Development Unit is the lead agency for facilitating development, fostering new industry and assisting existing business to ensure continued development and expansion of the City. Our role is to increase the level of economic activity in Ballarat through the support and expansion of existing business and the attraction of new business, investment and sustainable development.
